Original data from our directory
UK padel leagues in numbers, September 2026
By Padeliga. We make Padeliga, league software for clubs. We list every UK padel league we can find, whatever app it runs on.
In short
From 75 verified listings in 56 towns and areas, checked on each club’s own page in September 2026: leagues are the most common format (55% of listings), and 28% publish an entry fee, most often £50 per team for 8 weeks. This is a sample of leagues clubs publish online, not a census.
- Listings 75 padel leagues, box leagues, ladders and knockouts at clubs and organisers, each checked on its own page.
- Places 56 towns, cities and counties with at least one listing, across 4 nations.
- Publish a fee 21 listings that state an entry fee on the club’s page (28%).
- Name the app 14 listings where the club’s page names the app or platform the league runs on (19%).
Counts of listings in our directory on 30 September 2026. A listing is one club or organiser, which may run several leagues.
Where the leagues are
By nation and region. South East has the most listings in our sample. Counts reflect which clubs publish their leagues online as much as where leagues are played.

| East Midlands | 5 | 7% |
| West Midlands | 4 | 5% |

| Yorkshire and the Humber | 8 | 11% |
| Scotland | 7 | 9% |
| Wales | 2 | 3% |
| Northern Ireland | 3 | 4% |
Formats
A listing counts once for each format its club’s page names, so the shares add up to more than 100%. Americano and Mexicano appear only where the same club also runs a league.
| Format | Listings | Share of listings |
|---|---|---|
| League | 41 | 55% |
| Box league | 26 | 35% |
| Team league | 8 | 11% |
| Ladder | 7 | 9% |
| Social league | 2 | 3% |
| Americano | 1 | 1% |
Levels
29 of 75 listings (39%) state who the league is for. Among those, the words used were:
| Level named | Listings | Share of all listings |
|---|---|---|
| All levels | 20 | 27% |
| Men | 7 | 9% |
| Women | 7 | 9% |
| Mixed | 6 | 8% |
| Beginner | 2 | 3% |

| Over 40s | 1 | 1% |
Entry fees and season length
Only where the club publishes them, grouped by what the fee covers as the club states it. Fees include different things (some include court hire, balls or a social), and several city leagues share the same format and price, so treat these as a guide to what clubs ask, not a price list.
| Measure | Value |
|---|---|
| Listings that publish an entry fee | 21 of 75 (28%) |
| Free to enter | 3 listings |
| Per team | 13 listings, median £50, from £25 to £100 |
| Per pair | 2 listings: £50 and £60 |
| Per player | 1 listing: £20 |
| Amount given, basis not stated | 2 listings: £5 and £30 |
| Most common published fee | £50 per team for 8 weeks (8 listings) |
| Season or block length, where stated | 15 listings, median 8 weeks, from 8 to 11 weeks |
Apps and platforms named on club pages
Only where the club’s own league page names one. Most clubs do not say, so this is not a measure of market share.
| App or platform | Listings |
|---|---|
| Playtomic | 7 |
| PadelLevels | 4 |
| Padelmates | 1 |
| Rankade | 1 |
| Spin | 1 |
| Not stated on the club’s page | 61 |
Method
- What we counted: UK clubs and league organisers whose own public page shows a current padel league, box league, ladder, team league or knockout. Americano or Mexicano nights on their own were not counted.
- How we found them: web searches for padel leagues town by town across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and the websites of venue groups and league organisers. We did not use any other directory or list.
- How we checked them: every listing was read on the club’s own page (its website, or its own page on a booking or league platform) on 30 September 2026. Each listing shows its source and check date.
- Venue groups: where a group’s own page for one of its sites says that site runs box leagues or leagues, we count that site.
- What we recorded: formats, levels, entry fee, season timing, how to join and the app, and only what the page states. Blank means not published, not no.
- Limits: this is a sample, not a census. Clubs that announce leagues only by email, noticeboard or WhatsApp are missing, and larger venues with good websites are more likely to be found. Fees are not like for like.
- Who made it: Padeliga, which makes league software for clubs. No club paid to be counted.
