LTA Box League Manager or a padel league app?
In short
The LTA Box League Manager is the LTA’s box league tool for registered tennis venues: organisers need an LTA role or qualification, players log in with an LTA account, results feed the World Tennis Number, and the LTA’s own pages describe it for tennis. Padeliga is a padel league app for clubs: members join with a code, the other pair confirms each score, and box leagues sit beside knockouts and other leagues in one club console. If your venue already runs box leagues on the LTA system, keeping them there may be simplest.

What each one is
The LTA Box League Manager is part of the LTA’s competition system, built with Visual Reality for internal box league competitions at venues. It is available to LTA Accredited Coaches, competition organisers or basic referee course holders working from registered tennis venues, and to recognised club officials. Players take part through the LTA member login, and results feed the World Tennis Number.
Does it cover padel? The LTA’s box league pages and user guides describe tennis and do not mention padel. We did find a venue’s box league titled as padel on the LTA competitions site, so some venues do use it for padel, but we could not see a separate padel event type. If padel matters to your decision, ask the LTA for the current position.
Padeliga is padel league software for UK clubs and venues. Members join from a code or a QR poster with a name and a PIN, agree match times in the app and confirm each other’s scores. Staff run every league from one club console. Its box league is the Divisions style: see the padel box league app.

Where the LTA tool is the better fit
- Your venue already runs tennis box leagues on it, and your organisers already have the LTA roles it needs.
- You want results linked to LTA member accounts and, for tennis, to the World Tennis Number.
- You want the official LTA system, with one place for your tennis and padel box leagues.
Where Padeliga is different
- Made for padel. Fixed pairs or a new partner each week, and padel scoring: best of three sets, a match tie-break to 10, Fast4 or one set, with a 7-6 set’s tie-break score recorded.
- No LTA account needed. Members join with a code, a name and a PIN.
- The other pair confirms each score, so staff only see the disputes.
- More than box leagues. Knockouts, social leagues and champion of champions run beside the box league, from one console with one Needs an answer list.
- Levels. The first round can be seeded by the Playtomic level members enter, which most UK padel players already have.
What Padeliga does not do: it has no rating of its own, it does not book courts, and it is not connected to the LTA.
Using both
A venue with tennis and padel can keep its tennis box leagues on the LTA system and run padel leagues in Padeliga. Nothing has to move: members book courts the way they already do.

Does the LTA Box League Manager support padel?
The LTA’s box league pages and user guides describe it for tennis and do not mention padel. At least one venue runs a box league titled as padel on the LTA competitions site, so it can be used that way, but we could not see a padel event type. Ask the LTA for the current position.
Do players need an LTA account for the Box League Manager?
The LTA user guide says players reach their box league through the LTA member login. Padeliga members join with a code, a name and a PIN, with no account elsewhere.
Who can run a box league on the LTA system?
