Everything Padeliga does

In short

Padeliga runs padel leagues for clubs: Classic, Social, Divisions with promotion and relegation, Champion of champions and knockouts. Members join with a code or a QR poster, a name and a PIN, agree match times in the app and confirm each other’s scores, and the table keeps itself. Staff run every league from one club console that lists only what needs an answer. Members never pay; clubs get a free 90-day trial.

A 1 minute 24 second walkthrough: setting up a box league in the club console, then the division table, fixtures, agreeing a time and confirming a score in the app.

League formats

  • Classic: fixed pairs, everyone plays everyone, once or twice. See padel league formats.
  • Social: players sign up on their own and get a new partner every matchday, with one table per person. See the social league app.
  • Divisions (box leagues): several divisions with promotion and relegation by numbers you set before the season, seeded by Playtomic level or at random. See the box league app.
  • Champion of champions: several leagues at once, then the top two of each league pair up for a knockout to crown the champions. See how it works.
  • Knockout: a bracket for any number of pairs, byes spread fairly and seeds kept apart. See the knockout app.
  • Equal games, always. The draw never gives anyone in a league fewer games than anyone else, and leagues in one competition finish together.
  • Keep players apart in the draw when two people should not be drawn together.
  • Scoring: padel sets (best of three, a match tie-break to 10, Fast4 or one set, with a 7-6 tie-break score recorded) or points, one score a match. Draws allowed or not.
  • Deadlines your way: organise by the deadline (agree a time by then) or play by it (to go past it, ask for more time). A match is never written off.
  • Finish when you want: when making a league, pick an end date and the matchdays fit to it, or take one round, or a matchday more often.

For players

Joining a padel league in the Padeliga app with a six character code
Joining a league with a code.
  • Join with a six character code or a QR poster, then a name and a PIN. No account, no email address. See how to join.
  • An iPhone app on the App Store, and on Android it installs from the browser in one tap. See installing Padeliga.
  • Home shows what matters today: your next match, any time to answer and any score to check, across every league you are in.
  • Fixtures by matchday, each with its deadline, and a match with an agreed time shown on the day it is played.
  • A people page for each league: everyone in it, who they play with, and a WhatsApp button.
  • A new phone? Sign in to your leagues with your phone number and PIN. See getting your leagues back.
  • Free for players, always.

Times and scores

Confirming a padel score in the Padeliga app
The other pair confirms each score.
  • Add the agreed time once the four of you have sorted it in WhatsApp, or suggest a time in the app for the other pair to accept. See agreeing a time.
  • Need longer? Ask for more time and the club answers. See asking for more time.
  • One pair enters the score and the other confirms it. A score nobody answers confirms itself after 72 hours, and a score sent back goes to the club. See confirming a score.
  • The table keeps itself, with your tie breakers, form and a public standings link.
  • Notifications for the draw, times, scores, deadlines and club announcements. See notification help.
  • WhatsApp built in: a button to the league’s group, and a group per match for the four players.

The club console

The Padeliga club console dashboard: players, matches played, what is overdue and a Needs an answer list across every league
The club console: every league at the club, and a Needs an answer list.
  • Set up in six questions: how many players, how long, competitive or casual, pairs or on their own, how often and what they play for. Padeliga suggests a format, and you can change anything. See running a league from the console.
  • Needs an answer: late matches, scores sent back, requests for more time and unpaid fees, and nothing else. See Needs an answer.
  • Nudge them: one button messages all four players in a late match.
  • Every league in one place, with owners and managers who can both run leagues.
  • Entry fees: show what a league costs and how to pay, mark people paid and remind the rest. Padeliga never takes payments; fees go to the club.
  • Announcements to everyone in a league.
  • Export results to a spreadsheet. See exporting results.
  • Works alongside Playtomic: players book courts the way they do now, and every league match is a court booking.

Posters and the club board

  • Posters with a QR code for the noticeboard, ready to print.
  • Printed fixtures that fill the sheet.
  • The club board: your open leagues in the app for members who follow the club, so they hear about the next one.
  • Finals nights for leagues that end in a knockout.

What Padeliga does not do

  • It does not book courts or take payments: keep your booking system, Playtomic included.
  • It runs padel only.
  • It has no tournament day court scheduler or live scoring. For a one night event, use the free Americano, Mexicano and King of the Court generator.
  • A challenge ladder is coming but not yet live. See what’s new.
