How a box league runs in Padeliga, step by step
1. Set it up
Create a Divisions league in the club console, or in the app. Choose fixed pairs or a new partner each week, a target division size, how many go up and down, and 1 to 4 rounds. With 24 players aiming for divisions of 10, the app makes 2 divisions of 12 and says so before anything is drawn.
2. Members join
From the QR poster, a link or the join code, or from the club board in the app. If the league asks for a Playtomic level, members add it when they join. Other players never see it.
3. The draw
Divisions are filled by level, strongest at the top, or at random. Every pair or player gets their fixtures for the round, each with a date to be played by.
4. Playing the round
The pairs agree a time in the app and book the court the way they already do. After the match one pair enters the score and the other confirms it, and the division table updates.
5. Up and down
At the end of each round the top of every division go up and the bottom come down, by the numbers set before the season, and the next round is drawn. The top division has nobody to go up to and the bottom division nobody to go down to.
6. The end of the season
With a new partner each week, the season can end with finals for the top of every division. Members then say in the app whether they are playing next season, and staff start it from this one, with the moves applied and new players at the bottom.
