How to leave a league

In short

Open the league, go to the League tab and tap Delete me from this league. Type your name and tap Delete it for good. It happens straight away and nobody has to approve it. Your name, PIN and results go, and it also removes you from the other leagues saved on that phone.

Leave a league

  1. Open the league and go to the League tab.
  2. Under You in this league, tap Delete me from this league.
  3. Read the warning. It names any other leagues on this phone that you will be removed from too.
  4. Type your name to confirm and tap Delete it for good.

This cannot be undone. Your name, PIN and results go. Your pair keeps its results, but your partner is left on their own until they pair up again, so it is kind to tell them, and whoever runs the league, first.

Leave a finished league

When a league has finished, its card says so and offers Leave this league. Your name and results stay on the final table. The league leaves your phone and you stop getting anything about it.

Only want it off this phone?

On the League tab, tap Sign out of this league. Nothing is deleted, and you can sign back in with your name and PIN.

Dropping out during a season, fairly

If you have played matches and cannot carry on, ask whoever runs the league to withdraw your pair instead. Every result you played stands, and your remaining matches go to the pairs you were due to play.

Still stuck?

Email hello@padeliga.co.uk with the league name and what you were trying to do. A person will reply. For anything about one league, whoever runs it can often help fastest.

Questions

Does anybody have to approve it?

No. It happens straight away.

I am in several leagues. Does it remove me from all of them?

Delete me from this league also removes you from the other leagues saved on that phone, and the warning names them before you confirm. To leave just one, ask whoever runs it to withdraw or remove you.

What happens to my results?

Delete me from this league removes them with you. Leaving a finished league keeps them on the final table.
