Notifications not arriving

In short

Notifications only come from the app: the iPhone app from the App Store, or on Android the version installed from your browser. A browser tab cannot send them. Open the You tab and tap Turn notifications on. If the app says they are blocked, turn them back on for Padeliga in your phone settings.

Work through these

  1. Are you in the app? A browser tab cannot send notifications. Install it first: see install the app. On a laptop there are none; they come to your phone.
  2. Are they on? Go to the You tab. Under Notifications, tap Turn notifications on, then allow them when your phone asks. If it says On, they are on.
  3. Does it say they are blocked? The app shows that notifications are blocked for Padeliga in your phone settings. Open your phone's Settings, find Padeliga under notifications, allow them, then reopen the app.
  4. New phone? Notifications are set per phone. Turn them on again on the new one.

What you are notified about

Only your own matches. Never other people's results, the table moving or anybody joining.

  • When your opponents suggest a time.
  • When a score needs your OK.
  • The day before a deadline.
  • When the draw is out.

Whoever runs the league can also send an announcement, which arrives as a notification.

Turn them off

On the You tab, tap Turn notifications off.

Still stuck?

Email hello@padeliga.co.uk with the league name and what you were trying to do. A person will reply. For anything about one league, whoever runs it can often help fastest.

A browser tab cannot send them. They need the iPhone app from the App Store, or on Android the version installed from the browser.

I turned them off by mistake. How do I get them back?
