Padel box league template
In short
A free spreadsheet for running a padel box league by hand: four boxes of up to six pairs, the fixtures already drawn so every pair plays every other pair once, score cells for sets and games, and a table that works out played, won, lost, sets, games, points, position and who goes up or down. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, with no email needed.

What is inside
- A How to use sheet with the five steps below.
- Four Box sheets, each for up to six pairs, typed strongest first. Use fewer boxes by ignoring the rest.
- Fixtures already drawn. Five rounds of three matches, so each of six pairs plays the other five once. A box of five works too: leave the sixth row empty and the pair drawn against it rests that round.
- Score cells for sets and games won by each pair, and a Play by date for each round.
- A table that fills itself: played, won, lost, sets for and against, games for and against, points, position, and Up or Down for the number you choose.
- Your own points: set the points for a win and for a loss at the top of each box.
How to use it
- Type up to six pairs in each box, strongest first.
- Set points for a win and a loss, and how many go up and down.
- Add a play by date for each round if you use one.
- After each match, type the sets and games each pair won. Leave unplayed matches empty.
- Read the table. Level on points, it orders by sets difference and then games difference; head to head is not applied automatically, so check the match between two pairs who are still level.
Players with a new partner each round?
The spreadsheet is for fixed pairs. For players who change partner every round, use the box league generator: it splits players into fair boxes, draws every round, and downloads as a CSV. To make the boxes and fixtures for any number of pairs, the generator also does fixed pairs.
When a spreadsheet stops working
A spreadsheet is fine for one box league and one organiser. It gets hard when results arrive by WhatsApp at 10pm, when two pairs disagree on a score, or when the next season needs everyone moved up and down by hand. That is the job Padeliga’s box leagues do: pairs see their box and fixtures on their phone, the other pair confirms each score, and promotion and relegation are applied when the next season starts. Questions
Is the padel box league template free?
Yes. It is a direct download with no email address or sign up.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. In Google Sheets choose File, Import, Upload, and pick the file. The formulas carry over.
How many pairs does it hold?
Four boxes of up to six pairs, so 24 pairs. A box can have fewer: leave a row empty and that slot becomes a rest each round.
How does the table order pairs who are level on points?
By sets difference, then games difference. Head to head is not applied by the spreadsheet, so check the result between two pairs who are still level.
Is there a version for players who change partner?
Use the box league generator for that. It draws rotating partners in fair boxes and downloads the draw as a CSV.
