New phone: how to get your leagues back
In short
Your leagues are kept by Padeliga, not on your old phone, so nothing is lost. Install the app on the new phone, type each league's join code, tap Sign in, and use the name you joined with and your PIN. Do it once for each league you are in.
Sign back in, one league at a time
- Install Padeliga on the new phone.
- Open the league's invite link, scan its poster, or type its join code and tap Continue.
- Tap Sign in, not I am new. Joining again as new would make a second you with no results.
- Type the name you joined with and your PIN for that league, and tap Sign in.
- For your next league, go to Home, tap Join or start another league and do the same with its code.
Every league you sign in to sits on your Home screen, with your matches, results and the table exactly as they were.
If something is missing
- You do not know the join code: it is on the club's poster, or ask whoever runs the league.
- You do not remember your PIN: see forgotten PIN.
- Notifications: turn them on again on the new phone, from the You tab. See notifications.
Still stuck?
Email hello@padeliga.co.uk with the league name and what you were trying to do. A person will reply. For anything about one league, whoever runs it can often help fastest.
Questions
Can I get my leagues back with my phone number?
Not yet. Signing in by text message is coming. For now, sign in to each league with its code, your name and your PIN.
Will my results still be there?
Yes. Results, matches and the table are kept by the league, not on the phone.
Should I tap I am new on the new phone?
No. Tap Sign in. I am new adds a second player with your name and no results.
